The organization’s flagship product is Integard, an application that boasts the tagline “Your internet guardian.” Here are the bits and pieces you need to know about the Race River Corporation-developed Integard application.

The first thing you need to know is that there are two Integard versions. There is Integard Home, which is meant to be used, well, at home. This version is meant to keep your child safe and secure while surfing the web. In this regard Integard will filter out content that is inappropriate for their age, will limit the amount of time the child spends online, will monitor the child’s chats, will monitor the child’s usage of social networking sites, and will automatically shut down the PC at a specified time.

The second Integard version is Integard version Integard Professional. This version is meant to be used in an office environment. In a small or large business, Integard Professional will ensure that all employees are doing their job and not surfing the web and updating their Facebook profile. Integard Professional will monitor internet usage so that you always know what your employees are doing.

You can install Integard Professional on each computer in your organization, or you can install it on a server. If you decide to install it on a server, there is no need to install Integard Professional on individual desktops. But before you can install the application, you must first download it. In this regard you must know that the download weighs in at some 5MB (so it shouldn’t take long for the download to complete). Once downloaded, Integard Professional can be installed on top of the Windows operating system (OS). In this regard the software application should work without a problem on all versions of the Microsoft-developed OS.

The functionality that Integard Professional has to offer is not provided free of charge. You can use the application free of charge, but only during the 30-day trial period.

At home or at work, Integard is a properly good application that will monitor and control internet usage.
